Design Challenge:

Throughout COVID-19, seniors whom my colleagues and I engaged with reported increased feelings of isolation and alienation. They wanted to feel connected while remaining safe during an unprecedented time.

Design Solution:

My team and I designed, edited, and created a podcast called Baltimore Legacy Voices that uplifted the voices and narratives of elders in our community. We interviewed multiple seniors in our community and recorded their narratives, allowing us to:

1. build deeper relationships and increase connection with seniors in our community and

2. establish an oral history of Greenmount West based on the lived experiences of its residents.
